It’s been a long week of “building block” rehearsals and now I’m looking forward to relaxing at Theater Resources Unlimited’s benefit on Sunday afternoon. I understand that Melba Moore is going to perform. Bob Ost has promised to find us a mentor after the event is over. That is so cool!
A CHRISTMAS CAROL is right where we need it to be. There’s an old cajun saying, “When you’re up to your ____ in alligators, it’s hard to remember that your original intention was to cross the bayou.” Yep. That’s where we are and it’s my favorite/least favorite place to be. It’s like wading through pea soup, but one knows that the result will be worth the wading.
To make everything just about perfect, the weather is glorious for the annual New York Marathon. I remember going to cheer the runners on my first year in New York. Now, I can’t bear to watch them all huffing and puffing away, but like us, they’ll get to the finish line!
Have a wonderful weekend!
