Hi LeCee,
I just wanted to send you a quick note to tell you how grateful we are that we signed our son up to be in A Christmas Carol. It was truly a transformational experience for him. He is literally a changed person after the week of performances. He was in a state of mourning for a few days after the play, and has now taped the signed poster to the ceiling of his bunk bed.
Will you be doing another production in the spring?
Thank you again for all of your hard work. You are a marvel!
— a grateful parent
LeCee,
I just wanted to thank you for making my daughter feel so welcome and comfortable-she is having so much fun!
If I can be of help in any way, please let me know. I am happy to help out as needed!
Thanks, and have a great weekend!
I second Carol’s recommendation to see A Christmas Carol. LeCee did a fabulous
job directing this production. She truly brings out the best in all of her
talented and delightful actors with a clear and authentic touch . And Janet’s
costumes are luscious against a bare stage that allows the heartwarming story of
Christmas to shine forth through the children’s pure voices (guided so
beautifully by Ari’s piano playing) and Georgia’s parsimonious old Scrooge who’s
given a second chance at loving life. There are moments in this production that
will touch you deeply.
Congratulations to all of the actors, techies, and parent volunteers! You’ve
really outdone yourselves. It’s a very special and lovely show.
Warmly,
— a fan
Dear friends, our entire family went to see this musical version of A Christmas Carol on Friday, and it was so much fun, and the work by the actors is so wonderful. They are so committed to their characters, to their stage moments, and the songs are beautiful. There are super costumes, and the space is really nice. It’s not hard to get to — the C train at 23rd is great, but we took the bus down 9th Ave, and it’s between 9th and 10th on the north side of 26th St in the middle of the block. We found the whole piece to be heartwarming, and it got us into the holiday spirit! Special kudos to Scrooge and Tiny Tim and the Ghosts of Christmas Past and Present — my personal favorites in the show! PLEASE GO and support them!
